Our journey began in the quaint town of Latham, Ohio, where our founder, Andrew Wilburn, grew up with an insatiable passion for the great outdoors. Specifically, he developed a lifelong fascination with hunting and tracking mature Whitetail bucks.
Despite trying numerous deer minerals and feed products over the years, Andrew found many of them to be mere gimmicks that didn't deliver on their promises. Determined to find a solution, he partnered with a local feed mill to create his own unique blend. As a professional hunting guide for an outfitter in Lantham, Andrew had the perfect testing ground for his creation.
Over several years, he refined his recipe, striving for a product that would not only attract more deer but also improve herd density, overall herd health, and encourage increased antler growth. After about a decade of careful experimentation and fine-tuning, Andrew was finally satisfied with his product.
In 2022, while guiding a hunt during the December Ohio Rifle Season, Andrew met Justin Eichelberger, a videographer who shared his passion for Whitetail and hunting. Justin, who owns a marketing business with his wife in Bedford, PA, saw potential in Andrew's product and offered to help market and promote it once it was ready for sale.
Over the next few months, Andrew and Justin stayed in touch, discussing the future of the product and potential business strategies. In July 2023, Andrew decided to take the leap and start selling his product, not just to local sporting goods stores, but also online to reach a wider audience. He invited Justin to become a part owner in the company, a partnership that marked the beginning of Wilburn's Wonder Dust.
Today, we're proud to say that Andrew's dream has come true. At Wilburn's Wonder Dust, we are committed to providing high-quality, effective deer minerals and feed that truly make a difference. Our story is one of passion, perseverance, and a love for the great outdoors. We're excited to share our product with hunting enthusiasts around the world.
